It was Flag day yesterday. It was quite unexpected that it was such a fun day afterall, :D

Went around collecting donations with Bernice, Angeline and Vanessa! These lovely girls are so enthu that there tins are 3/4 full i must say. Mine was around half. Still not too bad, i heard those who went to Orchard to ask for donations have their tins 1/8 full only.

But thats okay, its the effort that is put in asking people under the scorching sun alrights! Welldone people! (:

Of course, there were many wierd people with wierd responses.

Senario 1 :

Angeline : Excuse me, would you like to donate?
Guy : You want money you go ask from the Government la!
Angeline : (...)

Yvonne : Hello! Would you like to make a donation? *smiles*
Guy with shades and a golden tooth : 我爱你 *walks away*
Yvonne : What?!
Bernice : Hahahahhahaaa!

Angeline : Would you like to donate?
Guy queueing outside Singapore Pools : Why must i donate?
Angeline : Erhhhh..
Guy queueing outside Singapore Pools : No, i dontwant to donate.
Angeline : (...)

Senario 4 :

Yvonne approaches a married couple.
Yvonne : Hello! Would you like to make a donation?
Wife : 老公，给她。
Husband reached into his pocket and put a 20cents coin into the tin.
Yvonne said thankyou and prepared to walk away.
Wife : 等一下，老公你给她两毛?! 神经病！
Wife : *puts a $1 coin into my tin and smiles*


But it was overall fun, i didnt realised till yesterday how friendly some people can be. Despite being rejected countless times, i still said thankyou to the people who let me ask finish 'Hello, would you like to make a donation?". There were some who really treat you like you're invisible. Crap. Im so prominent okay please.

Then Yihui came and we all asked him to donate while we desperately sticked the sticker everywhere in his wallet. He didnt mind a bit. How nice. :D

Then Ber left and we all got a free meal at Vanessa's parents' chicken rice stall. You should have seen the queue! It was freaking long! But thanks to Vanessa, we didnt even wait for a bit. We were served almost instantly after the chef prepared it. Poor people queueing. Aye! Thanks for treating, Vanessa and family! :D

We were like saying this was probably the last time Yihui can drink sugarcane until next Jan. :/

Vanessa left halfway through lunch and the rest of us shopped around AMKhub. Angeline bought a shirt and left, while Yihui and i bused back to Compass. We talked alot throughout and i guess we both understood each other so much more. (:

Homed after passing Wenxian my tuition notes in compass.

Dinnered with mum and sisters at Joe's Corner. That shop's probably the cosiest and most comfortable one i'd ever been to. Great dinner and played Wii-ed after that.

And i went online and chatted with WX, then webcam-ed with Yihui. His expressions were all freaking funny. Let me post an unglam of him. hahaha!

Yeah, caught you playing around. Hoho.

Wow, long post.
Maybe i shouldnt be doing this cause there's still holiday assignments still yet undone. x.x
